清水焼の郷「清水焼団地」は、東山山麓東側の丘陵地に位置し、京焼・清水焼の卸問屋、窯元、作家、陶磁器原材料屋、指物師、人形師、碍子など‟やきもの”に関する業社が軒を連ねる町です。
京焼・清水焼を中心に展示即売を行っており、毎年10月第3金曜日から日曜日の3日間は年に一度の大陶器市「清水焼の郷まつり」を開催しています。皆様のご来場をお待ちしております。
The home of Kiyomizuyaki, “Kiyomizuyaki-danchi”, is based on the foot of the eastern side of the Higashiyama mountains. In this area, our Kyoyaki and Kiyomizuyaki wholesaler stands side-by-side next to potters, authors, ceramic craftshops, joineries, doll makers, insulators, and more.
In its center, each year on the 3rd Friday in October, Kyoyaki and Kiyomizuyaki host its annual ceramics market, “the Kiyomizuyaki Hometown Festival”. We’re excited to greet you at our next event.
