大正元年五条坂に開窯し五代目清水六兵衛に師事。お福茶碗に於いては『百福』と銘打って喜ばれています
Our kiln was first lit in the first year of the Taisho period (1912) in Gojo-zaka, under the study of the 5th generation potter Kiyomizu Rokubei. We inscribe the phrase “Hyaku-fuku” (One-hundred lots of luck) on our lucky tea ceremony bowls to the pleasure of our customers.
