Since the construction of our kiln in Gojo-zaka, our traditional craftsmen’s goal has been the pursuit and production of engraved porcelain, using Shozui, flowers and birds, and Sometsuke styles to produce works with a powerful artistic style. We also seek to demonstrate an extensive use of styles such as Aka-e and Gosai (five-colours) painted porcelain.
