寿泉洞陶房を開窯、主に染付磁器を制作。伝統工芸士、京都府伝統産業優秀技術者「今日の名工」認定、瑞単光章叙勲拝受。
Founder of the Jyusen Doutoubou workshop, Kazuo Arai specialises in the creation of Somestuke porcelain. He is one of Kyoto’s traditional craft experts and has been awarded Kyoto prefecture’s title of “Today’s Skilled Artisan” and has received the prestigious ‘Order of the Sacred Treasure’ award.
