Founded at the start of the Meiji period (circa.1868), our kiln was then relocated from Sannnenzaka, Kyoto, in 1913, and established as a stock organization in 1949. We produce a wide range of goods from traditional Japanese tableware and tools, to interior decorations. Currently, in order to contribute to the continuity of the porcelain and ceramics industry, we always try to keep in mind our maxim: “To create pottery that adds comfort to daily life and moves the heart.”
