The first generation Kahou founded the Kahou kiln in Kyoto’s Higashiyama area in the 1950s, producing vases for Japanese flower arrangement. The second generation began the creation of Japanese tableware, which became well renowned for their lightness and ease of use. In present times, we represent one of the main kilns producing Kiyomizuyaki ceramics.
