In 1951 our founding grandfather established Yoshikichi Kato Factory Ltd. Since then we have centered our business around the production and sales of Kyoyaki and Kiyomizuyaki Sometsuke ceramics for use in Japanese cuisine and tableware. The current third generation, Yoshitsugu inherited the Houzan kiln and continues to devote himself to pottery.
