In the pursuit of the brilliant Kyoto Iro-e painted ceramics, the Rimpa school of painting and traditional Japanese beauty, we use gold and silver paint to design modern-styled goods such as teacups and water containers. We received instruction under the Makuzuyaki potter Kosai Miyagawa, and by 2002 had been operating for 38 years. We gained recognition as Kyoyaki and Kiyomizuyaki Traditional Craftsmen in 2010, and in 2017 received the Kyoto City Traditional Industrial Techniques “Master Craftsman” award.
